Trigger experienced an unexplained short mild seizure at the end of December 2014.   To
reduce risk to future generations, I decided to have him neutered..  His prior owner and
breeder in the USA have all been notified along with anyone who purchased a Trigger puppy
from me or used him for stud service.  I am also sad to say,  but have also decided to spay his
daughter Elsa.  Elsa was never bred.  She is beautiful and have kept her page just for
reference of her beauty. Click on her picture (blue merle) below to see her page.  She
continues to live with her Partner Family.

Update:  February 27, 2015.  Trigger had a second seizure last night, and I have since
discovered he has an uncle that is also currently experiencing seizures.  This, in my opinion,
leads me to believe it is genetically linked.   It will always continue to be my policy to inform
puppy buyers or other breeders of any health issues regarding any of my dogs in their lifetime
so we can all make informed decisions. For more information on Epilepsy please see

Trigger is now retired and remains wth me and my family as our beloved pet.

Update, Trigger continues to have seizures but we are treating them with Phenobarbitol and
Potassium Bromate.  He lives a good life with us and we hope the seizures are far and few
between.  If you are buying a puppy from someone...make sure to ask about history of seizures
in the bloodline.  There are still breeders out there that continue to breed offspring of
Trigger/Bowser, so please beware that there is some risk buying a puppy from this line.
I have chosen not to continue this line to help prevent producing puppies with this illness.
